where to disable stories count

i want to disable the option views in the tp of the story

is it possible to hide it and where to do that, i searched thru config and didnt find anything

take a look at the template files:
storytext.thtml
featuredstorytext.thtml
archivestorytext.thtml

you should be able to comment out what variable(s) you don't want to appear.

Recently I did work on a site where the client wanted the readmore, but not the word count. I had to comment out a bit of code in lib-story.php for that because the "readmore" variable included the word count.

This can be done without hacking lib-story.php:
Text Formatted Code
{start_readmore_anchortag}{lang_readmore}{end_readmore_anchortag}
 

Displays the "read more" link without the word count (and nothing at all, if there's nothing more to read).
