Geeklog Forums

I am wondering if anyone has modified the advanced search options to search your ipb forums. Is it hard can you share.

If not can someone point me in the right direction? I see it involved lib-common.php classes.search.php and one other file ( i cant remember at the moment but in the classes folder as well). Are those the only 3 files that would have to be modified to make it work? Or would you only have to do 1 or 2 of them.

I am not a coder myself but i was goign to send someone the files they would need to look at. Thanks in advance for your help

It would make more sense to write a plugin for this. You'd only have to implement the API function that searches your forum. That way, you wouldn't have to modify any of Geeklog's core files (which would save you some headaches when upgrading later ...).
