1.3.9 has extensible feeds, i.e. you can write a class, drop it in the /path/to/geeklog/system/classes directory and then you can create feeds in any format you've implemented. I wrote an Atom class based on the 0.2 specification a while ago (it has now been outdated by the 0.3 specification and I haven't had the time to update it yet).

Reading of feeds is still restricted to RSS, though. Anyone interested in helping out should have a look at <a href="http://project.geeklog.net/pm/task.php?func=detailtask&project_task_id=19&group_id=6&group_project_id=10">this</a>.
