I am installing geeklog 1.3.4 on a linux server with apache and php 4.1.2. The installation script says it is able to write so I thought I had set up the correct permissions - but when I set up my geeklog server settings and click next I get this error " Unable to open config.php for writing in install script ". The installation script creates this file so I am finding this a little confusing..Any ideas?

I also had this problem recently.. try setting the permissions to 777 on your admin/, admin/install and admin/install/install.php. That worked for me.

well I deleted the installation and went through the procedure again with success - thanks for the tip I think it cracked it..
