Well - not the right section I guess, but here it goes...
What IRC client are you guys using, running on Windows!??
I do not have a lotta' experience in this, except maybe on Linux, but right now I'm primarily running a Windows XP computer. Which freeware client is THE best for this!??

If you use Mozilla (versions since about 0.95 I think), it has included a pretty decent IRC client. Also
here[*1] is pretty complete list of windows IRC clients.

Have a look at http://www.klient.com for probably one of the best available and geared for Win2k - XP's newer technologies.

I been using it for a couple of years now and love it.

mIRC[*2] is by far the most popular IRC client out today, and the best IMHO. It'll work with any version of Windows (and Linux, through wine). It actually is shareware, but it won't nag you, expire, etc. Also, due to its popularity,
tons of addon scripts[*3] have been written to extend its functionality in every way imagineable. And you can write your own, its quite easy.
