Your site makes Opera 7.11 on Linux just crawl. If I try to scroll the page, it takes two or three seconds to just get control of the scroll-bar. The Geeklog site doesn't do this.

It's probably the fixed background image. Scrolling isn't too zippy in Mozilla either ...
