Sports Scores is a Geeklog phpblock that displays NHL, NBA, MLB and NFL box scores made available from NewsClicker.com.

Sports Scores features are as follows:
Consists of three views: default view (home page phpblock), administration view, and sports news view (static page) Displays customizable NBA, NHL, MLB, and NFL sports scores for registered users (one team per league ONLY) Displays a "default" set of sports scores configured by the site administrator for anonymous users (one team per league ONLY) Has a built in caching mechanism

I've included a README file with the source code which will walk you through the install process. If you run into any other problems let me know.

After much reluctance, I've decided to deprecate the Sports Scores Block The PHP code is solid but, the content feeds are shaky at best (send hate mail to Newsclicker.com)! If anyone out there knows of another source of content PLEASE let me know.... I'm more than willing to re-code if need be! I'd prefer a RDF/RSS content source but, will take just about anything as long as it's reliable!
