I'm pleased to announce the 1.0 release of the Stocks plugin. Stocks is a Geeklog plugin for displaying stock quotes made available from the Yahoo! Finance website.

This is a port of the original stocks block with a few added features. The plugin offers better error handling and a cleaner look/feel. The release of this plugin would not have been possible without the work of Warren Parks.

Feature Summary:

* Displays customizable stock quotes for registered users
* Displays a "default" set of quotes configured by the site stocks administrator for anonymous users
*Caches all content in MySQL
