Version 1.3 of the Things to do plugin is released and in the downloads section on my site. Please note that there is no upgrade included: the plugin has changed drastically, and if you have things to do in your existing plugin, they will be lost if you upgrade.
This version includes support for Geeklog security on TTDs (things to do items), topics, centerblock, and sideblock. If you create any TTDs, they will be shown when you are viewing that topic - great for managing work by topic.
If you have and problems please let me know - everything is filtered, so it should be safe (no legally-binding guarantees of course ). Drop feature requests/feedback here or on the forum of my site.
Cheers,
Euan.
PS: if there is enough gnashing of teeth I can make a conversion script.

I've just had a couple of errors in the install of this release (1.3) pointed out to me - I'll get a fix out asap. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Cheers,
Euan.

Just to keep you informed - I'm almost done with another overhaul of the things to do plugin. Mainly admin features added and just a couple more things to fix - mainly adding a new security group so you can have people view your things to do items, but not create any.
Cheers,
Euan.

I've found a bug in the delete function, it references the id instead of the topic id (tid) when checking permissions, so it always fails.
I don't know where to report bugs on plugins, if on the author site, here, or on a central geeklog plugins repository at sourceforge or elsewhere.

Thanks - I'll look into it. Which version are you using?
Reporting bugs - either here in the plugins forum or on my site is fine. I haven't been keeping up with the sf page, but if people post on geeklog forums I should see it in a day or two. My own site would be more convenient of course (for me anyway).
As an update, I'm working on the ttd plugin with Mr.Jeff - there's lots of improvements in the wings, so if you have any requests, ideas, comments, now is the time to speak. The basic plan is to make it a simple things to do manager, and to leave all complicated project management to Mantis (which we will act as a front end for). You won't need mantis, but it will work well with the next TTD plugin release. See the
discussion in the wiki on my site[*1] .
Cheers,
Euan.
