I'm running (1.3.9sr1) . But using 'Mail Users' I can only get it to send to the group "User Admin", it won't send to "Logged in Users".
I've tried several of the latest CVS builds of that file, but have settled on mail.php,v 1.21 2004/01/17 20:38:27 dhaun (later ones just don't play ball at all).
At the moment I don't have the option to upgrade the version of GeekLog t the most recent, unfortunately.
There might be a fix somewhere on the forums but I haven't come across it.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Never seen this before. What happens? Have you tried any other groups?

I've tried a number of groups, which all have users in, though I haven't tried every single one.
One of the symtoms when it fails, is that it tries to refresh to a page, but there must be some URL error caused and it either doesn't go anywhere, or my browser tries to complete with an approximation and sends me off to its best guess.

It's possible that one of your users has a special character in their name that causes problems when Geeklog uses it in the email address. Recent versions of Geeklog are a bit better in handling special characters in email addresses, but
not quite perfect yet[*1] , either.
Sorry, that doesn't really help you, I assume. See if you can find a user name (or full name) that has some special characters and see if it helps to change them.

Umm... quite a puzzle. Can't find any oddities in addresses, as so far I'm just using my own adresses to test the installations.
I've actually got 3 copies installed on different domains. All are presnting similar problems, in fact two won't send at all.
Is there a debug routine that might display a clue?
Thanks so far

In fact maybe I should have added that when a new users registers it does manage to send the password notification to them without any problem. So I guess the general mail functions are working correctly.
