On my dutch website, running GL1.3.11, I still have to use [image] to place and upload images instead of [beeld].
* Where can I change that? I can't find the word Image in the dutch language file...
** After I've accomplished that, would I loose all the images in the excisting stories because I've used [image] ?
Many thanks for your help!

[image] is correct. We decided to stick with the English tag names in all languages.
The text that refers to [beeld] etc, has to be updated. Someone send me an updated language file ...
bye, Dirk

OK, is clear, thank you. I'm afraid I changed my dutch transaltion too much, so it will be difficult to upload that. Will see if i can find the time to change the standard languagefile.

But suppose I definitely want to change [image] to [beeld], where can I change it? I can imagine it might result in some problems with upgrading, but all my members are dutch and will use GL more if everything is in dutch.

Geeklog doesn't store the [image] tag, but the HTML equivalent. So this shouldn't be a problem (
unless you switch languages[*1] ).

In the language file.
Are you sure? I only found the Help line(admin/story nr 51).

Which is the only line that's relevant. As I said above, Geeklog now always uses "image" (that's hard-coded now), despite what you have in the language file (entry #48 still says "beeld" in my copy, but will be ignored).

Oops, sorry, my mistake , I mean, where can I change this hard-coded setting, not the text in the language files?

In admin/story.php, functions replace_images and insert_images.

Pff, that was not easy for a PHP newbie, but it works perfect now. Thanx Dirk!

Hi Beewee,
Maybe consider to post your actual code changes here as a reference for all of us non-php gurus, so we can just do a copy / paste

OK, good idea, I just did. Also put some helpful comments in top of the file.
BTW nice layout Knuff, what did you use to start with?

Thanks.
Used Axonz
Contempory[*2] as a base.
Still some work todo to get it where I want it to go.
Guess
this one[*3] is already more in the direction (but blue instead of red).
Kinda like the two column approach

Yeah, looks great too, but IMHO you should make the vertical border a bit more subtile.
Here[*4] is a preview of one my next projects...

Cool.
Just one question though, as I have been looking into it but didn´t really manage.
How are you planning to create the dual middle column.
This will require some additional coding, I guess.
I tried this with CSS, but I couldn´t find a really working solution.
About my vertical border, hmm I kinda like it being so thick

How are you planning to create the dual middle column.
Here[*5] is a hack for it, it works on GL 1.3.10 and 1.3.11. It makes a double column, and the newest article always uses both columns.
To make that innershadow I'll take out the content table and nest it in the center cell of a table with the shadow bgimages in the outer cells (or something like that).
And if you love your border, I'll love it too...
