I want to start sending RSS feeds from my GL site and I want to know how my feeds might be picked up by Yahoo news? Can anyone tell me where to find this information.
Thanks
Jack

Content syndication[*1]
I have no idea how Yahoo looks for RSS feeds, but from the webserver logs, it seems it found ours just fine. When editing/creating a feed, you have an option to add the feed to the site header (so that that well-known orange icon will show up in certain browsers). I would assume search engines use that information as well.

Does that mean that the feeds are automaticly sent? I don't have to do anything?

Feeds aren't "sent" anyway. They are created through said admin panel and updated whenever you publish a new story (or whatever else they contain). Then someone or something has to come along and pick them up - just like a search engine spider has to come along and pick up the new content on your site.
Adding the link for a feed to your site's header will advertise the existence of the feed - otherwise, nobody would know it's there. But that should be enough for it to be picked up sooner or later.

It's the "Header-link in topic:" option when you edit a feed.

I was talking about the icon that some browsers display when they encounter a site with RSS or Atom feeds. It's an orange icon in Firefox, and blue in Safari. Can't remember how it looks in Opera.
