I run a romanian and a dutch version on a server. The problem is that in romanian, one word in the blacklist is actually a preposition of everyday use and the users get "censored" over nothing.
When I try to remove the english word from the blacklist, and then I post the message again, the same thing happens.
I have no Idea how to disable the personal blacklist or the english censored words.

I had to open every config or spamx file and I finally found out a solution: the english default words were in the main config.php - made the changes and now it's ok.

I have the same problem... but its much more extreme!
for example: *censored*tail = *censored*tail !!!
1. I removed the word *censored* in blacklist -> same problem
(the word is realy removed in mysql-database)
2. I removed the SLV-Files in spamX-directory -> same problem
3. I disabled the spamX-plugin -> same problem
4. I uninstalled spamX -> same problem
between every step i cleared browser-cache & checked with a second browser.
what can i do?! please help!

The censoring has nothing to to with Spam-X. Check your config.php:
Text Formatted Code
$_CONF['censormode'] = 1;
Set that to = 0 and the (silly, I know) censoring is gone.
After that, I'd suggest you re-enable those Spam-X modules.
bye, Dirk
