I've been running Geeklog for many, many years without much in the way of mods. I installed it and it worked out of the box.
Now my VPS host is telling me that my memory useage is way up and I should begin looking into upgrading any old scripts. I've read that the new v1.4 series handles memory better, but it's been years since I've devled into Geeklog operation (it just *works*).
Is there a clean upgrade path? And what will happen to the few plug-ins thet I use? (Mainly GUS and BAN)
If you need to see where I'm starting from, the website is here: http://www.StarWarsGuide.net
Any links for the timid would be appreciated. Thank you for any assistance or direction.

The upgrade is pretty straight forward. I upgraded a site from 1.3.5 with little problems. The biggest changes would be in the template. If you didn't customize the theme much, it won't take long.
