Forum Subject: help with upgrade

Hi
I tryed to upgrade gl 1.41 to 1.6.0.sr1 version.
I did that i these steps:
made a backup of gl141 db. ( it is using msql 4.0 db version)
I made clean installation of gl 1.60 with a new msql 5.0 db
but i told server to do installation in dir wher my old gl is installed
then i imported backup of old db to a db of new gl
Everythin looks perfect except i cant make any new articles or edit existing ones.
Site works , no errors , everything looks fine but i cant add more articles.
I have all other administrative functions ok.
Can anyone sugest how to do this upgrade correct?
I`m not s well familiar with gl , php or mysql.

Are you using the Professional theme that shipped with Geeklog? There were a few required theme changes[*1] , specifically for the Admin pages[*2] . So you probably need to update your theme.

I have Chameleon installed and that is my default theme. I will try to switch to professional and do things that you suggested .
