Hello,

The question is in the tittle: How to prevent the advanced editor to replace Autotag ?

When I set an autotag [myautotag:1] in the product description field of the paypal plugin and save the product, this autotag [myautotag:1] is save in the DB. When I display the product page the autotag is replace. Here everything works.

When I edit the product, the advanced editor replace the autotag in the textarea but I here need to display the original autotag

Not sure if it'll work, but you could try replacing the square bracket with it's html entity:

$template->set_var('description', str_replace('[', '[', $product['description']));

Maybe it was an issue with my Geeklog 1.7.2 test site because everything works now with a Geeklog 1.8.0.
