Which browser are you using? It may be fooling you ... Mozilla and Netscape 6/7 (possibly other Mozilla-based browsers, too) have an option to save the contents of forms for you. So the next time you call up the same form, the browser fills the fields in for you. And it overwrites whatever was in that form ... I once spent an entire afternoon searching for a "bug" in Geeklog (the exact same form, i.e. in the user editor, actually) until I realised what the real cause was. Try another browser ... bye, Dirk

Mozilla 1.2.1 fooled me, IE5.5 worked. I checked the stored forms data in Moz, but it was/is empty. Must be a bug.

It's actually a feature, but one that can have surprising effects (as you found out). bye, Dirk
