We are currently using Geeklog as a company intranet and now want to use this as a marketing tool, where our employees can upload documents (.doc,.ppt.,pdf, etc) - and others can view the list of uploaded documents and download the document that they select. Very similiar to the downloads page here at Geeklog.net. Is this feature already built in and I am just overlooking it?

You will need to install the File Management plugin.
