I really want to use the Forum Plugin, but as far as I understood correctly, you have to change phpbb files to work with Geeklog. But now I have a problem, because what to do when you have to upgrade to a newer version of phpbb? And is it right you'll have to change table names of phpbb? I have a heavy modded version of phpbb and renaming tables will cause conflicts then.. I don't know what to do. I was thinking of renaming the user tables of Geeklog, so the users of phpbb will become users of Geeklog.. Is it that simple? I am afraid it's not Do I miss something?

You seem to be confusing things here. The Forum plugin for Geeklog has nothing to do with phpBB - it's an independent development. So it should be a straightforward install. There is also an integration package for phpBB, but I don't know anything about it ... bye, Dirk

No, that's the Geeklog Forum plugin. I don't have a URL for a site that still runs the phpBB integration - even Tony switched to the Forum plugin on iowaoutdoors.org ... bye, Dirk
