I was browsing around today and came upon www.unfound.net... it appears to be a news site of some sort that's using geeklog to power it (which is always cool).. but I noticed they're using a theme (Aqua) that I can't find anywhere but I'd very much like.

I emailed the author on the page but I was wondering if anybody has any information as to where I could get other themes aside from the defaults?
I suppose a more direct approach to my problem would be: when's that special site being set up for just plug-ins and themes?

There are lots of custom Geeklog themes out there, but rarely anyone offers them for download so far. So if you see a theme that you like, ask the person who made it if they would like to make it available for download (as you did in this case).

As for a theme site - geeksta.com is more or less the "official" Geeklog theme site. I'm sure Matt will be happy to add any custom themes to his site - just ask him.

As for a plugin site - well, given the lack of really usable plugins, that doesn't make too much sense right now ... If someone has a working plugin - well, send it in and we put it on this site or put it on your own site and we add a link to it from the Plug-ins page (see menu bar). That, I'm sure, is the least of our problems ...

My theme is really little more than a reasonably extensive hack around of the Digital_Monochrome theme and could do with a bit of optimisation in the graphics department, but since it's there and I've yet to find the time to develop a theme from scratch I've made it available for download here so I feel less guilty about not doing so Wink

Hopefully I'll have a more worthwhile contribution to make in the not-too-distant future but, well, it's the thought that counts, isn't it? Wink

Please note that this thread is over a year old now - things change and Matt didn't have too much time recently (and, apparently, he's having a problem with his site at the moment).

In the meantime, you can try my "Geeklog Playground" site if you're looking for themes.
