I would like to have a way to include the contents of any arbitrary block inside a story. An iframe would be okay, but I don't know how to make block contents appear on a page by themselves. Any idea?

To create a php page that only displays the contents of a single block, read this post. But, don't call COM_siteHeader and COM_siteFooter. Instead, just print out what is returned by phpblock_yourBlock().
