I'm a fan of bookmarklets, at least in principle. One of the best uses for them, IMHO, is the ability to grab the URL from a current browser page and add it to my list of archived bookmarks. I didn't see any such tool for building GeekLog Links entries, so I built one.

It is on my site Jefficus World in the Software section for anybody who'd like to try it out. It's far from pretty, but it works just fine for me.

I changed the site URL about 20 minutes ago and still haven't chased down all the references to fix them. Try again. :-) (Sorry about that.)

Nice. Just an idea, but what about a version that submits to the the submission queue? That way you shouldn't have to worry about the login. Wouldn't suit everyone of course, but it would suit me.

Just my 2 yen's worth.
