Recently I've been doing some forum rearrangements and I wanted to move topics arround. However with some topics I couldn't do a thing.
Usually there is a drop down menu:
Edit Post
Delete Post
Ban IP
Move Topic

Why is it so that as a site admin I'm able to moderate some topics and some not (can't see the drop down menu)?
I'm running Forum 2.3/GL 1.3.9

There is one more thing. With topics that I can eventually move, after saving them under new forum the post date is also updated and it looks like this is a fresh topic. Kind of misleading. Any way to solve it?

I don't quite follow if you:

1) Saw this only with some topics in a forum that you have full moderation rights

2) Saw this with all posts in a forum but other forums were ok

3) Saw this with posts that were replies but the top-level post had all the options

4) Was it that the moderation selectbox did not appear or just some of the moderation options

I assume you verified that you had full moderation rights to the forum - just being admin may not be enough.

Regarding moving a topic: Yeh, I know guess thats a feature . I have that on my list to fix in the next release. It is currently updating the "lastupdated" timestamp.

That's the case

This forum was setup under Admin, the others under my current login that's why I couldn't do a thing with it. I had to add myself to moderator list for this forum. Problem solved. Thanks for pointing me into right direction.
