Can i turn plugins off by editing some file on shell? My geeklog site is dead and i don`t know why. There is nothing in error log. I want to check that it`s not a plugin problem but i don`t know how can i turn them off.

Just go to your database, using e.g. phpMyAdmin, and in the table gl_plugins column pi_enabled set the value to 0.
