Hi.

I noticed that the method for previewing in the advanced editor is a bit cumbersome.

To preview, one must click the "Preview" button at the bottom of the screen, then either the "Preview" or "Show All" button at the top of the screen. If changes are made, the process has to be repeated to see the updates. Clicking the "Preview" or "Show All" buttons at the top don't refresh the preview, and clicking the "Preview" button at the bottom removes the preview from the page.

This happens for me on my installation of Geeklog (1.4.0sr2) and also on the Geeklog demo site. I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.2 on Win XP.

Is this something which could be fixed?

Thanks.

Not really - not without some seriouis coding enhancements using AJAX. The advanced editor with the WYSIWYG Rich Text Editor provides a way of seeing your article in rendered HTML which is a significant improvement from entering raw HTML only.

The preview has to post the updated content and re-render the article wrapped inside the site. This requires a complete refresh of the page.

Hi, Blaine.

Thanks for the explanation. I thought it might be something like that.
