Hey,
I installed and received this error when I load index:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /homepages/25/d165824297/htdocs/geeklog/config.php on line 97

It's probably a really stupid mistake, but I am stuck. Line 97 is a blanck line just below $_CONF['site_mail']

Check for missing quotes or semicolons above that line.

Checked, and everything appears to be good as far as what you have suggested. I have:

'me@mywebsite.com';

(email address changed for security)

Any other suggestions?

The problem may be even further up in config.php. Specifically, check all the lines that you changed.

bye, Dirk

OK, the problem was there were single quotes in my site slogan (I forgot to put the backslash in We're ). finally found what caused parse errors here
