That pluging works like digg or meneame.net ?, i.e. users can submit news that are queued since they take a minimum number of votes?

The thing i say is no admin user to validate news. geeklog interface and meneame.net system to promote news.

Ah, no, I don't think it does that. It lets you rate stories that have already been published (I think - didn't try it out myself).

I guess it would be possible to make something vaguely digg-like out of it by posting articles in their respective topic first and only promote them to the front page once they reach a certain rating. But that's only a wild guess on my part - you'd better talk to the plugin's author about that.
