When new users sign up they are presented with a field for "username" and "email" so when they click submit I would assume they would get and email with a password and confirmation...not the case. It does show up as a submission that I have to approve, so I do and then assign a Password then email them. I'm sure I'm missing something, so please help here. Looking for the automated process for signing up.

So you have the user submission queue enabled (in config.php)?

In that case, go to "Moderation", approve the users there and they get the password email automatically.
