I got huge ammount of spammy comments on my site and i went into mysql and emptied the comments table

but still the comments show under few of the articles??


Why???

Because you shouldn't delete comments directly in the database - we have a handy Mass Delete Comments module just for this case.

The number of comments per article is also stored in the actual story's record. You need to reset that counter, too.

Next time, please use that module.
