I know I asked this a few months ago but I can't find the posting or any answers. I get timed out when I try to log on to my admin moderation page. I edited a file so that only 50 things would show on the page. It worked fine for a while but now it seems that it is not working?
Thanks,
Jack

I found the old post but the last answer only tells me that I am not running a current version. I have already modified some file so only 50 entries show at a time . What file can I now modify to let me get in. Or is there a workaround? I will et someone to update my version but I would like to get in now.
Thanks.
Jack

This is the message I get:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /usr/www/users/jackknyc/geeklog/system/classes/template.class.php on line 499

Same problem as last time, I guess: Too much spam in the submission queue. You could try emptying the story, links, events, and possibly user submission queues directly in the database.

To prevent this you could install BadBehavior2 or captchas plugin.

If you wanted to know what to empty I suppose it is something in the gl_storysubmission table etc.

Yeah, if you know it was not you, just empty that whole table.
gl_linksubmission, gl_eventsubmission as well
