I've just installed Geeklog succesfully, placing it in a /myblog subfolder of my main website because I already had apps in the root. I've also switched to the Firestone theme. All fine.

Except: I cant get FCKeditor 2.6.6 to display toolbars anywhere. The edit boxes show raw HTML code

advanced_editor is set true
postmode is html formatted

Firestone seems to correctly include .....editor_advanced.thtml

I've tried deleting cookies/temp file and restarting in case that was confusing it.

Any ideas anyone?

Hi,

As firestone theme is up to date and advenced editor works on the Geeklog demo site, a link to your site could help.

Something is certainly missing as the fckeditor is not fire even with the professional theme. You can try to re upload all files from the Geeklog 1.8.1 archive except the install folder with your ftp software.

I checked It works under both themes.

For the admin user under My Acount -> Layout and Language you needed to enable the Advance Editor. Any old users that where created before you set the Advance Editor as the default in the site config will still use the normal editor by default. That is the same for any older stories created before you set the Advance Editor in the Site Config.

Mr. Green I forgot this feature.

It is not the first time we see a user with this issue. Maybe we could make something more user friendly in this case Question

Thanks for help on this. yes, its working. I had to delete users and then add them again, then they get the advanced editor.
