Why there are so many people contributing to the development of great free software/scripts like geeklog, slashcode, phpnuke... and no one bothers to write documentation (installation/administration) for the rest of us and support forums. We have our websites at virtual servers and need step by step idiot proof instructions. Thanks for creating -unusable- great free sofware, anyway.
First calm down. If you are speaking specifically of 1.3 then keep in mind that it is still in beta. We will update the docs after we get the code figured out. However, if this is an itch you'd really like to scratch then I'd welcome your help on updating the documentation as we can always use help.
If you are talking about 1.x series...I'd say that 90% of the instructions are still current.
Either way, If you don't help out if you could let us know what version you were referring to specifically and the docs in particular that you didn't like that would help us better help you.

The reason people blame things on previous generations is that there's only one other choice.

Personally I think rude people should be left in a corner to repent their ways. Truly.
Clearly they don't understand the development process or the reality of donated-time development!
