Am I right in thinking this plugin is for users to add thier own info to a geeklog site? (maybe to sell or whatever) Then being able to to keep whatever information they put online updated?

Well as soon as I can work on it, it will sortof. The request was not for a online store directly but for a store like enviroment but with no ability to directly sell from the site. It would not take too much to extend the plugin to do so how ever. Tho its simple enough to add links to ebay or paypal to acomplish the same thing.

I didnt look at it that way, not selling products as such (ecommerce kind) Im just looking for something that users on my site can sell themselves (free promotion for them - djs and producers) Just something they can edit themselves and for others to check them out, a simple image and room to put thier details is all i require

thanks for the info

I guess this is the right plug-in for you, users can make a company profile and online catalogue...

I don't want to be unpolite or rude, but can you inform us about the progress? I know there are plenty people interested in this plug-in. And it disappeared from the progresslist on your site.

I think I seen Blaine mention something about this kind of thing before somewhere, about alot of 'coming soon's, but they never actually arrive'

such a shame, its obvious it has people wanting it, over 800 views to the post last time i looked

ERR! Anonymous - this is not my thread and one I have not even posted to until this cowardly comment was made. I'd certainly like to see your list of contributions .

Let's keep the comments supportative of those that give their time. Mthomas has a lot of good ideas and It takes a lot of time to develop and release these projects. Occasionally life and family gets in the way and we miss a previously stated objective. Oh My God!!!

You're damn right Blaine, we should be glad that so many people are willing to make plug-ins in their own time and share them with the community. And I believe MThomas is doing a great job. I was only asking about the progress because I need such a plug-in for a non-commercial portal for the local sportsclubs which I promised to make in september. If the showroom plug-in doesn't arrive in time I'll hire a programmer at my own costs.

Blaine, GL is a great piece of work!!!

Yep, I agree guys, no need for shadey comments like that from "cowards". I think its great that people with the ability take time out to write plugins for Geeklog

A progress report would be nice, though I did see in another MThomas post that he was looking at intergrating this plugin with another of his.

I'm sure these things cant happen over night, or we would all be making them

I noticed that MThomas has moved his site to another server, so I guess he's quite busy at the moment...

I saw this thread and wondered if there was ever a plug in to come out of it? I have interest in this, and a lot of clients who could use it.

I am looking for a product manager and a membership directory to plug into several gl sites.
