Here goes,
I have played around with Inmemoriam, and figured out that it's a perfect add-on for geeklog, also i played around with gallery 1.5x and 2.x.
So far i love the changes that were implemented in Gallery 2, especially the usage of Windows XP Foto Publishing to upload my pics, and to be honest, that feature would be my mean reason for wanting to use Gallery 2.
Now, secondly i have more than one website, running from the same webserver, and what i find nice is that i can use one installation of Gallery 2.x or 1.5x and have my geeklogs sites capture pics from that one gallery installation.
Now, i only played around with these features, and i would however choose for final installation to go with the Gallery implementation, currently i tempted to install 1.5x and then use the Geeklog plug-in and link it to gallery 1.5x, but i don't want to install it, and then few days later i'll be back at it again installing G2, (i really love that new furture-see above (wXP)
big question? Can i use Inmemoriam, with more then one Geeklog site, or would i have to install the plug-in into every geeklog site i create?
btw: Can the developing crew that's currently working on the Gallery2 plug-in for Geeklog, give me some feed back as to the progress.
I know it was mentioned that it was on a pause until end of october, but would be nice to hear some feed back from the current testers...or send us some links where it's being tested so that we can have a sneakpreview

If the public_html files are at least duplicated for each site, and those sites share the db and core files then any plugin shouldl satisfy multiple gl installs..
however, I have no idea if inmemoriam will do as Gallery with respect to multiple gl installs. I don't know how Gallery does it.

thanks guys....
Didn't know that WinXP was supported in previous Gallery, actually i only saw the option when i installed the 2.x version, but didn't see it in the 1.5x version...
-- Machinari --
Each site has their on Dba, and don't share the core files, independantly own, they are just making use of the same webserver, taking advantage of Apachie's virtual servers function..

re: multiple inmemoriam...
shouldn't be a problem.. install it proper on each gl install. Then edit $INM_CONF['albums'] in the config file for each install to refer to a common/single album directory. All gl installs will now share a common gallery--in theory.
This method may act inconsistantly with respect to restricted media which is restricted according to user ID's.. and if you're not sharing a user db, then what may be set as restricted on one site may be open on another. If all the media is unrestricted then you shouldn't have any problems.
No guarantees.

OK. Here's where we are:
I am in the process of gathering info about any bugs with the current development version of this plugin. When I hear from everyone and have a list of issues, I will address them. When that's done I'll put together a general release. I expect this will be next week sometime.
I've mentioned before that this plugin is not at the top of my priorities, so I don't know how much time I'll be putting into it. [Oddly enough, I'm not even planning on using it myself any time soon which directly affects how much I put into it.]
This first version, however, will cover the basics and provide something to build on in the future.
