Hmmm, it seems to be taking out all those slashes by itself when I hit save. I'll hit save, go back into the edit screen, and they're all gone.

do not use the advanced editor for that.

which advanced editor? The notepad program I use or an alternate editor in geeklog? I copied that code directly from your post and pasted it into the geeklog static page edit screen. When I clicked save, all the slashes had been removed.

the advanced editor in Geeklog. Maybe you did not activate it in your config.php... anyhow what version of Geeklog are you using?

Ah, yeah, I see it in the config file now, it's disabled. I'm using 1.4.1.

this should be working in your version of Geeklog allright. I do not know what is wrong on your site. This is, in any case, not the problem with this script but rather with your site. you might have some old files for the static pages plugin there or some other problem. You should input the code again, w/o editing it, checking how it looks with phpMyAdmin and then debug the whole way through the system to find out where the slashes get removed...

I recommend you to start a new thread in this forum with "Staticpages removes slashes from PHP Code" as title... more people will help you then.

Alright, I appreciate all the help. At least I know why it's not working now.

Thanks,
Jay
