No you didn't miss anything, there was not specific documentation on upgrading a Geeklog v1.5.0 site. I have added a short blurb about it now in the glFusion Wiki.

Ah, cool!

Between the addition to the Wiki and Dirk thinking about moving the debugging code back into siteconfig.php in the future, I feel like I've contributed something now. LOL
