Max Stories not working...

I've set: $_CONF['limitnews'] = 5;

In config.php, but it doesn't seem to be working for me in this site; www.deafgolfleague.com.

Is this a bug or is there something else I should be doing?

Got it... User settings (which defaults to 10) overrides the global settings. IMO the global settings should apply as a default user setting. ;-)---L. Whitworth www.finiserv.com

They do apply as the default setting for all new accounts that are created after the change. It may not seem obvious at first, but I think Geeklog is behaving correctly here. bye, Dirk
