Here's the problem: I created a staticpage that includes a textarea box. When I attempt to edit this staticpage, the display gets messed up when the closing textarea command in the staticpage html is read as the closing textarea for the staticpage editor. Any ideas on how to get around this? I had to edit the page separately and then delete the old page and create a new one, pasting in the finished HTML.

Hmm, which version of Geeklog / the static pages plugin are you running? There was such a problem but it has been fixed since 1.3.6rc1, if I'm not mistaken. I have a static page containing a <textarea> and I can edit it just fine (the site is running 1.3.6). bye, Dirk

I'm running Geeklog 1.3.6 but I'm using the staticpages 1.2. Can you specify the fix so that I can apply it to staticpages 1.2?

I found that bug some time ago and fixed it along with some dollar sign bugs. The static pages 1.2 on The Pigstye contains the fixes. All you will need to do is to replace your admin/index.php.

Or if you want only the fix the comments to the story here details the fix.
