Geekary parse error help

I just installed geekary. The install went fine. But when I try to access the GUI in my admin block, it is not listed in there.
Also, at the top of the page, I get:
Parse error: parse error in /home/forstoff/plugins/geekary/functions.inc on line 66
Here is line 66:
$menuitems["{$LANG_GEEKARY['geekary']}"] = COM_buildURL ($_GKCONST['public_url'] . "index.php"
];
