Anyone know of a way to deny access to forum plugin based upon group membership? I don't want all members to see the forum, only members of a specific group. Thanks!

You can restrict access to a forum to members of certain groups, but I don't think you can hide the existance of the forum plugin itself. Blaine? bye, Dirk

There are no checks in the main forum/index.php but it would be easy to add as there is a forum.user permission. The required code can be seen in most other plugins - such as chatterblock.

I know it has been a few incarnations of the forum plugin since this june 2k3, but I wonder if this advice is still good.
