Allow subscriptions per story

I didn't find a post for this, so forgive me if this has already been discussed.
A great feature would be the ability for a user to subscribe to an individual post and be emailed with new comments to that post. I'm sure we all know of sites like these and subscribe to individual topics often.

A visitor can subscribe to individual topics right now but not individual stories. Yes, this would be a good feature and I recommend you add it to the wish list so it doesn't get lost: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=357371&group_id=7371&func=browse
