Multiple stories block

I was wondering if it is possible to put few different stories blocks on GL site managable by different groups.
I need to create main block with main topics on site which is managable by main site admin.
Then I need to create separate block with stories on different topics which need to be managable by different groups of moderators.
Another nice hack would be multilevel sections in stories block.
