confused
On the left pane where it has the admin and user functions etc.. how do i disable the numbers from showing up. it really gets in the way of clean navigation. thanks. Smile

also how do i change the background of the default forums from light gray to say white or black. I have orange text and it looks horrible. visit southfloridaraves.com and check out the gameserver theme using the theme selector on the right side of the home page. then go to forums and you'll see what I mean. i want to keep the text color but change the background color of the forum tables. hope u can understand what i'm trying to say.

You can change turn the numbers off in the config.php file

What forum version are you using? 2.2 or 2.3RC1? I would suggest 2.3 from www.portalparts.com. If you are using 2.3RC1, you can change the colors in the style.css. I couldnt get your site to come up. Maybe my connection is just being slow.

I dont think its meant to work like that with the theme changer. Try it on this site. maybe im not understanding you. I would still suggest upgrading to 2.3, it is easier to work with as far as custom colors.

only thing i can turn off is the showsubmission count etc... i want to make the parenthesis and numbers in them hidden or deleted. it's messy and unnecessary for me to have them. i looked in config and couldn't find anything that would allow me to do this.

Changing the 1 to 0 didn't work for ya?

Text Formatted Code
// Show the number of stories in a topic in Section Block
$_CONF['showstorycount'] = 1;
