When installing a new release, there is always the problem to go thru the new options. Mostly I do use the default, and where that is changed, I have to look for other, possible interfering options.
Would it be possible to have geeklog read config.php, which contains all the options with default settings, and afterwards read a file f.i. defaults.php or custom_config.php, which contains all the adjusted options. The idea is that these adjusted options kind of overwrite the default settings.
In that way I only have to delete an option if I want the standard back.
In that way I have a 'document' with my customization.
Also, I could install the release without bothering.
See also the webserver xitami at www.xitami.com, which is initializing this way.
