Does "Daily Digest" Have to be Daily?

I think I know the answer, but:

If I set a cronjob to mail out once a week, will it send everything since the last job, or just the stuff in the last 24 hours?

No, it doesn't have to be daily. That was just the original idea for that feature.

You may have to change some of the texts in the language file when you run it with a different interval (so as not to confuse your users when it doesn't arrive daily). But there's no technical reason preventing you from running it at another frequency.

When I read that the digest would send everything in the system the first time you run it, I got the impression that you were not restricted to a 24 hour period.

That helps alot. I needed something to alert members to a weekly newsletter!
