gl_session table goes corrupt

Three times today I have had to remove and remake the gl_sessions table on a gl site because it got corrupted. The site has Gallery and phpiCalendar installed, but neither use the database at all so I doubt that is the cause. This site has been up for only about three weeks but this has never happened before.
Has anyone else had similar issues? Anyone with some advice on how to fix this?
