I want to creat an account for a user whose "My Calendar" can be read by the public. Is there any way that it can be read by the public without having to log in?

In a word: No.

What's wrong with using the public calendar?

bye, Dirk

It was going to be a group calendar, member of the group can log on as a user and be able to post to it.

A group calendar is something I'm going to have to look into in the near future.
I can't imagine that I'd be too difficult to implement as somekind of plugin.
