I'm considering using GL for a community group website, and was wondering is there a plugin to let a moderator/user to add an image into a contributed story.

(without having to link to a web based URL - that would be to hard for my community group users...)

Any ideas how to do this? Are there other GL forums for basic, newbie type of questions?

If you edit a story and you have the permissions to do so you can add images just as if you were creating a story from the admin control panel.

There is an upload form, usually below the body portion of the story creation tool.

I guess to answer you quickly - YES you can without have to link externally.
