Ok I have read that many of the Search Engines not only have a problem with the session string or date but they also have a problem indexing anything after the "?". I am actually seeing this myself on some. I have a fairly large site which when it was HTML got many of the pages indexed. Now that I have gone with php and Geeklog I have seen this drop to almost nothing.
My idea is to create a sitemap.php page where I have a shorturl of all the pages I want indexed by the Search Engines which I also like to via menu plugin.
Basically my shorturl may be something like this
widget.php
And when clicked it would display this
products/index.php?page=products&category=7&item=575
I have also read that if the Search Engine gets by the "?" then they don't like more than 3 arguments.
So would the link with the short URL be fine with the SE's even if the address display is the long one?
