Group permission for editing story

How to change the check box of group edting to default checked?

Also, How to give story admin rights to edit every story? Now I have 5 five story admins. I also set a new group called news poster and this group can post article directly. But if they don't check that editing checkbox when they post news, my story admin will unable to edit their stories. Only I can edit.
How to sovle this?
Please help! I am in a hurry! My site is online running and have lots of visitors!

The default group permissions are either inherited from the topic permissions (for users which don't have access to the admin's story editor) or hard-coded in admin/story.php (around line 200). Change

$A['perm_group'] = 2;

to

$A['perm_group'] = 3;

to set the default permissions to "read + write".
